Nora Winslow started this site after two years as a health educator at a reproductive health clinic, watching patients arrive with questions they’d clearly been sitting on for months.

They’d searched, they’d found things, but what they found was either written for a medical professional or written for someone who didn’t want the full picture. The space between those two things is exactly where most people actually live with these questions.

Sex, bodies, relationships, mental health, identity: these subjects are treated online as though they belong in separate rooms with separate rules.

Clinical sites won’t touch the emotional side. Lifestyle sites skim the medical facts. LGBTQ+ identity gets covered either as an explainer for outsiders or as community news with no depth in between.

Nora’s frustration was that nobody seemed to think one place could hold all of it seriously.

Every category on this site has a specialist behind it, not a generalist who rotates topics. Articles are sourced from primary evidence (clinical trials, peer-reviewed research, established psychological frameworks) and written by people with real backgrounds in what they’re covering.

The standard isn’t “accurate enough.” It’s the same standard Nora applied when a patient was sitting across from her and needed to actually understand something.

These aren’t easy topics to write about well or easy questions to ask. We think both things deserve more effort than they usually get. Whatever brought you here, you deserve a straight answer. That’s what this site is for.

Sex, relationships, wellness, identity. The conversations worth having, delivered to you every week.
